2 תאור כללי של הקורס: הסמינר מוקדש לבדיקה השוואתית של מעמדם וגורלם של מיעוטים דתיים במסגרת כמה אימפריות: רוסיה, גרמניה, צרפת, האימפריה הבריטית, תורכיה העות'מנית, וארה"ב. מטרות הקורס: המשתתפים יוכלו להצביע על היבטים משותפים וגם שונים בין אימפריות שונות, בעלות שאיפול והגדרות פוליטיות מגוונות; וכן יוכלו להצביע על מקומם של היהודים במרקם חברתי רב-תרבותי לצד מיעוטים דתיים אחרים. תוצרי למידה בסיומו של קורס זה, סטודנטים יהיו מסוגלים: המשתתפים יוכלו להצביע על היבטים משותפים וגם שונים בין אימפריות שונות, בעלות שאיפול והגדרות פוליטיות מגוונות; וכן יוכלו להצביע על מקומם של היהודים במרקם חברתי רב-תרבותי לצד מיעוטים דתיים אחרים. דרישות נוכחות (%): לפחות 80% נוכחות חובה שיטת ההוראה בקורס:סמינר רשימת נושאים / תכנית הלימודים בקורס: כפי שמופיע באתר הקורס במודל 2 שיעור 1 מיעוטים דתיים באימפריות מודרניות 31/10 מבוא קריאת רקע: Hugh Seton-Watson, "State, Nation, and Religion: Some General Reflections," in Joseph Alpher (ed.), Nationalism and Modernity: A Mediterranean Perspective (1986), pp שיעור 2 7/11 רוסיה (א) שמואל אטינגר, בין פולין לרוסיה (1994), עמ' ("תקנת 1804). 2 / 6
